(she/her)

In 2007, I had an experience while at a gathering of friends I would later call my empathic and healing abilities coming online. A friend who is also a shaman put her hands over mine, I felt the energy from her hands move through my entire body and light me up. My hands felt like they were on fire, and I became connected to every being in the room. Suddenly aware of the pregnancy of one friend and the severe illness of another, I thought I might be going crazy, except everyone else was experiencing it with me. Everything in my world shifted and opened up that day. Intuitively, I knew I had been given a gift that I needed to share with others. I sought out books, classes, teachers, mentors, and elders to learn from and begin to understand how to work with this wonderful blessing. I learned to become a hollow bone, setting ego and self aside to allow healing for those who wish to receive it.

While seeking and learning about intuitive healing arts, I began to cross paths with death workers. I began exploring death and grief work as it related to healing.  I felt a strong calling to begin supporting those facing radical life transitions and the end of life.  In 2019, my mother began her hospice journey. As one of her primary caregivers, I saw firsthand how little I knew about what was happening and how a poor hospice experience had a negative ripple effect. I vowed to help others avoid this experience.

I used the COVID shutdown to become an INEDLA-trained end-of-life doula and I began working for hospice. All to support and guide those who need it. Still, it wasn’t enough to be trained and work for hospice, I knew I wanted to more fully engage and support this last journey in life called death. I could no longer ignore my calling and thus began Pathways to Journey.

My mission in this life is to be an exciter of change, a keeper of chaos, and a vessel for healing. I can think of no better or more honorable pathway to honor my mission than to journey with you.

My Approach

Death is not a medical event, and neither is healing. These experiences do not have to take place solely in a medical setting. Now more than ever in times of isolation, separation, and distance you need an advocate and guide to walk beside you to support you in having the richest experience possible; as end-of-life approaches or energetic healing needs arise, I am here to travel the pathway with you. I am a healer and death doula. I live my gift journeying with the dying and their loved ones and finding the pathway to energetic restoration for those who need it. I believe that no one should have to die, grieve, or heal alone. It is my honor to work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Healing

I am an earth-based, heart-centered healer and ritualist with more than 10 years of healing arts experience. My focus of work aligns with my Irish and Nordic heritage. I intuitively work with our healing spirits, ancestors, and guides to lift, release and bring peace. I reverently acknowledge my teachers; Ann Drucker and the teachings of Miss Beatrice Waight, Betsy Bergstrom and Kristin Schuch.

End of Life

I work with individuals looking to become more comfortable speaking about death, understand more about pre-planning, those with or without a terminal diagnosis, those in hospice and those that may have lost someone suddenly and would benefit from early grief and legacy work. I have additional training with MAiD and dementia. I also work with those experiencing radical transitions in life.
